Family Jammy Bingo Night

Saturday January 25th at Tully's CB South. CBCS PTA & KBUT bring you a night of food, fun, and prizes at Family Jammy Bingo!

Reserve your seats now, seats limited to 75. Tickets include a seat and buffet dinner of pizza, salad, sammies, and dessert. 5pm buffet seating, 6pm Bingo starts.

Bingo cards will be sold at the door for $20. Must be 18+ to buy cards (cash or Venmo) but all ages can play! We will have prizes for each of the 10 bingo games and prizes for best costumes.

PTA January Meeting

Please join us for a PTA meeting on Wednesday, January 8th at 8:45am at Town Hall in the Junior meeting room. This meeting is for anyone who wants to learn more about what we do and how you can help! We will be reviewing our-year-to-date overall as well as reviewing bylaws, vacant leadership roles, and finance policy. All are welcome - you don't have to be a member to attend.

Hosted Experiences are Still Open!

Missed winning the auction? We encourage you to grab a friend and sign up for these private parties, hosted by CBCS parents. All proceeds go to supporting our school! Best of all, it's a fun way to build community among parents and families in a smaller setting. Click here for more info.

Calling all Volunteers!

Did you know, when a parent fills a volunteer slot, this gives our teachers a much needed break to do paperwork, respond to emails, or eat their lunch. Please consider finding an hour to help fill the volunteer openings. We have dwindled down just a few dedicated volunteers per week!

Also, if your child walks or rides to school, you are particularly aware of how important it is to have an adult help them safely cross the street. Let's motivate to help our kids and teachers this January!

Recess Supervision- 1 daily

PTA Programs Spotlight

Afterschool Programming

Our PTA takes great pride in supporting the Afterschool, Wednesday Workshop, and Enrichment programs at our school, which offer wonderful opportunities for our students. The CBCS Enrichment Program aims to enhance our students' experiences by providing a diverse range of artistic, cultural, and educational activities that complement the standard academic curriculum. This program organizes and funds artist-in-residence initiatives, workshops, performances, and after-school clubs, all of which are accessible to every student.

Through these collective efforts, the CBCS Enrichment Program not only nurtures the talents of young learners but also strengthens the bonds within the community, making education a shared and joyous endeavor for everyone involved.

Alley Loop - Saturday Feb. 1st

The Alley Loop is not your typical Nordic Marathon. It is both a premier American Birkebeiner Qualifying event and Crested Butte’s most outrageous costume party of the year! The course winds through snowy streets, alleyways, and narrow bridges through the heart of downtown Crested Butte. Distances range from 1.5K to 42K races.

If you like normal, you may want to look for another race. If you are up for anything… this is right up your alley!
