PTA Programs Spotlight

PTA Reflections

Reflections is a National PTA cultural arts recognition program that helps K-12 students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas; develop artistic literacy; increase confidence and creativity; develop critical thinking and problem solving skills; and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful not only in school, but in life.

While the primary focus of Reflections is a celebration of creativity and the arts, student artists receive positive recognition at their schools, and finalists move on to their council/region for review and recognition.

Last year, among thousands of entries from schools across the state, five CBCS students earned Gold or Silver awards in their categories—an outstanding achievement! But the excitement didn't stop there…High School Junior Brody Davis took home Gold at the State level and won an Award of Excellence at the National Competition for an exceptional Visual Arts submission. This is a huge honor, and we couldn’t be more proud!

A massive congratulations to all of our talented students for their hard work, creativity, and dedication. You continue to inspire us with your insightful and impactful work, we look forward to seeing what you create this year!
